BMW OFFRIDE
BMW Off Ride The project is the result of Fabio’s travel experiences, the African one in particular. Back home Marcaccini focused on those who were the two most critical points: the “Telelever” front suspension and the weight distribution, convenient for tourism, not for the adventure. He opted for the most traditional and effective Marzocchi, obviously prototype, 50 mm big sticks with 264 travel and self made ergal plates and pins.
The transformation marked by a more rigid setting has led to an immediate increase in confidence with the front wheel. Placed on the front, the revolution has subverted the system of fluids and injection. If the fuel was first delivered on three sides of the tank it has now been moved to the central area down to the panel, to progressively lower center of gravity.
'In extreme situations, the centralization of the masses allow the perfect balance to avoid an obstacle at the last moment, bringing you out unscathed from a situation that could seriously compromise your trip'.
Compared to the standard Adventure this bike looks shorter and higher, in fact the wheelbase is 45 mm longer (but shorter than the 54-HP2). The real difference is its weighs, something like 15 kilos less, and its power of 6 hp more; there is no ABS and the traction control is only mediated by the feeling between the rider and the terrain.
The design is subjected to function: the air is sucked by a pair of airbox included in the garish side drums, which are the most distinctive visual element. They reach the throttle bodies injectors through conveyors carbon. Were sketched by the computer designer Oberdan Bezzi and he the only true digital transition: other solutions, such as aluminum tank and disassembled the chassis are the result of collaboration with the mechanical genius David Martin.
The tank allows you a quote vintage BMW stilosissima in cheek protection for the knees. Very high level of finishes and solders. True to his philosophy of modular working prototype that allows you to edit an object by removing or adding elements proportional to each other, Marcaccini has designed a chassis that allows you to ride off to change from explorer to maxinaked terrain.

According to his philosophy of modular working prototype that allows you to edit an object by removing or adding elements proportional to each other, Marcaccini has designed a bike that can be turned from an overland explorer to maxinaked all-terrain vehicle.
